Marzipan
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg almonds (blanched)
- 1/2 kg sugar (powdered)
- 3 egg whites
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- food colour and moulds
Preparation:
- Blend all the ingredients together until smooth.
- Mould into desired shapes like stars or Christmas trees or you can
roll out the Marzipan into a thick slab and cut into diamond or square
shapes.
- If you're using colours, let the shapes set for at least 3-4 hours
before painting.
- Allow to set at least for a day.
