Ingredients:

  • 2 coconuts
  • 1/2 kg goan jaggery
  • 200 grams rice flour
  • 25 grams cashew nuts (chopped)

Preparation:

  • Extract the juice from the coconuts. Keep the first extract (thick juice) separately from the thinner juice.
  • Mix flour into the thin juice and place on the fire stirring continuously.
  • After the mixture thickens add jaggery and later on the thick juice.
  • Add nuts after about 5 minutes.
  • Keep on stirring till the whole mixture is well thickened and begins to leave the sides of the vessel and oil begins to appear all around. Pour it in a dish.
  • Cut when cooled.
